Okay thanks, I was just confused because all the 5 pins of the mini USB are soldered to my board, but then I will just try it by just connecting only the 4 of the USB C

Yeah, they should all be soldered to secure the USB port. Only 4 should be actually used though.

Hi @Xamresor Does your Mini USB cable that is in your photo, have two wires inside the cable? Or 4? It looks like it only has two, so that is not a data USB cable, because the white is positive, and the black is negative. But if that is 4 wires, then could we see a photo of all 4?

The fifth pin is "ID". It is usually unconnected.
