Puzzled about changing the micro usb to usb type-c

Hi, I have a arduino m0 board on hand, the board has a micro usb:

And I notice the micro usb use it's pin4, the ID pin:

I want to design a convert board, something like:

Now I know how to connect XUSB, TARGET_USB_N, TARGET_USB_P, but the ID pin puzzled me a lot. Does the ID pin connect to CC1/CC2?
