i need a gauge stepper motor which can turn 360 degrees

hi, i will make a compass. So i need a stepper motor like used in automotive gauge panel. I find some models but they have internal stopper, it means they can turn 300 degree or something but i need 360 degrees, because it is a compass. I want to a thin stepper motor (height is belove from 1.5mm) and it must turn small degrees(like 0.33 degree). do you have any suggestion?

Steppers don't usually have internal stops - did you mean Servo instead? There are continuous rotation servos that do not have internal stops, here are examples, the micro servos are small.

Trying removing the stopper from the gauge step motor. It should work, and I would be interested to know.

Normally, the zero position is obtained by running the motor into the stop. After modification, how will you zero the meter?

yes, exactly it is. i dont know actually how i can remove.
they used that motor like a clock.

no, it wont be a servo. i pasted a link on top. it must be like that, but they have internal stoppers.

I looked at that video a few times, and the poster did NOT use an instrument gauge stepper motor. He used a clock motor with two hands, possibly made by the same company (Switec), which he salvaged from another vehicle.

I think this is the module he used.

but i dont know zero thing, can it be a solution?
