In Canada, if you were not pre-registered, you can still vote if you have one of three forms of ID. let me show you one option with no ID. This is option 3. Option 2 is more formal and includes things like fishing license and library card among about 50 other IDs. If you have ID it's much easier. This is one of many ways we differ and some would say are even more free than you.
In USA/Virginia, a business owner can print their own ID. A homeless person, not so easily.
My philosophy in groups like this is to simply avoid the politics. There's too much good information, even coming from people whose politics you might not like. And as an anti-Trump American, I feel sorry that your now going to group me in with the lunatics who put him in power. But I can't say I blame you.

Sorry, you missed the post where I withdrew my withholding. Normally, I would agree with you, but in Canada, many people are genuinely afraid. They are afraid of having to pay for health care and afraid gun violence will increase dramatically.
Remember, a lot of US voters did not think Trump was serious, so voted for him anyway. We watched that happen, so we learned the lesson and DO take him seriously. I am uncertain.

Here we have to prove citizenship to Register.
And then a Republican can say we're not and take it away along with thousands of others in less than a day.
I remember back in 2000 when it took a conservative judge to throw out so many votes in a district according to news the morning after that election. 10,000 here, 10,000 there.... and then it was hanging chad time.
You could substitute a number of different sports in the development comment more interested in making money that growing players.
When I played in the 70s in junior hockey we used to fight serve 5 minutes and then go hang out with the other team at the bar after the game. Now it continues in the parking lot and often with knives and guns. In Varsity High School parents and spectators had to sign good conduct forms. It has degenerated to more spectators being the problem.

Sure, but I don't need to prove the non-existence of God or god or whatever he / she / it is called. If someone claims there is a god that's their business, what reason do I have to prove them wrong? I don't, I just ask them not to bother me with their delusions, maybe come back when they have some evidence, rather than some feeling that god must exist or whatever other flawed arguments they use to justify their claims.
