IDE can't open the port it's connected to

Hi everyone
Arduino IDE V2
ESP32 CAM - MB

I'm trying to programme a ESP32 CAM board. I have it connected to COM9 but every time I try to upload a sketch (even a blank one) I get this error

`Could not open COM9, the port doesn't exist`

I can see that the port shows in Device Manager as a RAMPS port, and I can see that it shows in the top of the IDE and in the bottom bar

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

According to the Device Manager, that would be the wrong port.

You need to find out which port corresponds to the ESP32. What serial adapter are you using with the ESP32?

Thanks, COM9 was correct.

Although I had downloaded what I thought were the correct drivers, it seems that I needed the CH340 drivers - which I have now installed - this solved the issue I was having

I was using the ESP32-CAM-MB adapter board.
