IDE hangs on startup: "Received RST_STREAM with code 1"

Hi, i have the issue with when i start Arduino IDE on Windows 10 i just get the pulsing logo. I've tried installing the 2.2.1 version but get the same issue.

Running the Debug command gives the bbelow output with the error: 13 INTERNAL: Received RST_STREAM with code 1

Supsect this is Firewall related as works fine when i take the laptop and connect it at home. We are using a Smoothwall Appliance, however nothing in the Smoothwall logs is showing anything related to this being blocked.

Hope you can help me with this?

Hi @karlmash. Unfortunately I don't know what could cause the error that was shown in the logs you shared:

Please install Arduino IDE 2.3.0 and then see if the problem still occurs with that newer IDE version. There have been some significant changes since Arduino IDE 2.2.1 so maybe the problem will be solved. If not, please post the logs from PowerShell again here, just as you did but using Arduino IDE 2.3.0 this time. It might be that the logs produced by 2.3.0 will contain a useful clue about the cause of the problem.
