ILI9488 Display Glitching / Flickering

I just got my first ILI9488 and I'm using a LGT8F328 for it. I wanted to try to do one of those benchmarks but the screen was just white with lines of colors.

I've tried it with an Arduino Uno but the same thing happens.

Which one of what benchmarks? What software are you using to drive the screen? Please show a wiring diagram.

By benchmark, I mean the ILI9488 graphictest. I found the library randomly from Youtube.

This is my wiring and I found our about something. When I power the LED pin using a 3.3V or 5V or any of those using a resistor, the screen would always be white and it will not display any other color.

But when I try to power it with my Finger. It works well but there are still lines on the screen. The brightness was dim aswell.

Link to the library, please? Why are you searching for libraries on YT? Is Google broken?

Thanks. Now have you verified that you have the right configuration settings enabled in the library header and/or constructor? Have you verified the display IC type by looking on the PCB?

It is a photo of your wiring, better than absolutely nothing, but a diagram would be 1000x better.

I dont know man I just accidentally touched the pin and it lit up

That means it is floating, high impedance. It means your design or wiring is bad.

I just tried to reduce the brightness of the ILI9488 display using a Potentiometer and this was the result

It is display things other than white, but of course the screen is very dim and there are some glitchy lines. I think my display is just broken at this point

Did you investigate the floating pin issue I mentioned?
