Hello People, Im in need of some help here!
I wanna program a "Router" you will be able to send internet out with IR but im not great at programming so i need some help or just somebody who can program it for me im using a arduino duemilanove
I have:
Arduino: arduino duemilanove
Ethernet Shield
IR sensor
So i might be able to do it i really need It for my Pocket PC
Before we get into the crossposting issue, do you have a clue EXACTLY how to modulate the IR in such a way as to send a single letter to the Pocket PC? In other words, can you communicate AT ALL with the Pocket PC?
If not, come on back when you know how.
I don't know how because nobody is writing about something like that not even anybody have ever made a post how to make a IR Internet Router well i only know that both the Pocket pc and the Computer need to have the program Activatesync installed the app is installed on the pocket pc from factor then when you need to connect you go on the pocket pc and open the app then Options - connect with IR
Didn't the PocketPC just use IRDA?
In which case, no modulation necessary - you've just got to match line speed and polarity.

I don't know if it does you surely know it better then me.. 
So do you know how im gonna do it? if able please write the codes for me It would really be nice I don't have alot of programming experinces so

I don't think that'll work with IRDA - it looks like a 38kHz detector.
I don't have alot of programming experinces so
this is not the project for you. Find something simpler, like blinking an LED.
