IR Remote (NAD 716 5.1 Surround Receiver)

Hello all,

I hope this is the right forum.

I was wondering if anyone here happens to have a NAD 716 amplifier, with the possibility of recording the IR signals from the remote, so i can make my own remote control for it.

Unfortunately the control is kind of hard to get original, so second best is making my own!

One of the first websites I saw had a replacement remote for €12.60

Are you thinking of Amazon and/or remote-world? those are universal remotes

This site advertises a replacement remote (not a universal/programmable remote).
There must be other sites, mabe one in your country.

There are many NAD codes available on the Internet, so you can (with some luck) download the codes instead of capturing them. For example, irdb.tk has a NAD Amplifier, that you can try.

You can use IrScrutinizer to download it, and to generate Arduino code with just a few key clicks.
