Hello, I live in Turkey and i've bought Arduino Uno R3 from a local website. It says that it's the geninue one and I payed 23 dollars for it. I checked my board from here.
And I see the regulator is quite different than it should be. In that photo, there is a 501 k text on the voltage regulator. In mine, there is an infinity sign.
Except that, everything seems fine.

Is that a geninue one?
Looks pretty good to me. They might have got a custom batch of PTC Resettable fuses. I haven't bought a new Uno in ages. (or ever - I still use a couple of Duemilanoves I got in 2010).
Was the plastic case separate?

Yes, it was bundled with Arduino. It's easy to detach it.

I think a few of the newer boards come with the plastic mount as my YUN direct from Arduino.cc came with one.

It is not voltage regulator but polymeric fuse for 0.5A. The original part should be Bourns MF-MSMF050 and the sign on the top should be 50xY, x is the code of year and Y code of week but sometimes lying 8 can be there (I read about it somewhere).
Your board seems to be genuine. If it is counterfeit then in excellent quality.

Thanks for answering. I think they started to use arduino logo printed fuses for new boards.
As you can see printed on the board and the box, it is an arduino**.org** version. It may slightly different components than the .cc version, but it is the real deal.
