Is this circuit design good?

Is this circuit design good? I had to make a parallel circuit that had 3 resistors per room and I wanted to have a switch per room. I didn’t really know what category to put this in.

I see no circuit design or a link to it in your post

That circuit is good if you want to have 2 switches that drain power from a battery. You have not labelled the resistors so it is impossible to say how much current will flow with one or both switches closed.

Is it connected to an Arduino project in some way ?

That circuit mirrors your description. When you say "room" do you mean a room like in a building or is that translated from another language and as such means something else?

Room as in building.

  • Why are you needing to do this ?

It's for an assignment where we need to have 3 lights per room using a parallel circuit. This would be for two bedrooms.

Does the assignment involve using an Arduino or is it purely electrical using passive components ?

So resistors that glow like lightbulbs?

  • What components were you given ?

It doesn't mention anything about Arduino, just that you have to make a circuit diagram.

The resistors are just to show that we will use something that will use electricity I believe. I think we will be using LEDs.

Nothing yet, but I believe that we will be using wires, two 9 Volt batteries, and resistors.

Can you please post the full assignment so that we know what you are trying to do

Then redraw your schematic using a correctly designed LED circuit. Will the switches be mechanical switches like you've shown or will they be some other kind of switch?

  • Are they supplying the lights ?

Don't mind the due date.

The switches will be the type of switch where you flick it with it either being on or off. They don't have a knob, and are similar to the ones you see on a wall for a light switch, just much smaller.

Yes.
