KY-024 Hall Effect Sensor Analog output Issue

I just bougth an KY-024 hall effect board which has 3144 sensor on it. I think it is a clone.
My problem is analog output gives only one constant value and the led from board turn on when magnet close enough. That value can change with sensitivity potantiometer. But nothing else. I wanna meausure the distance while approach the magnet, how can I do that?

I think it gives me the value of sensitivity potantiometer?

I have 2 boards but none of those measures the magnet strength

That could mean that the sensor is an A3144 Hall effect switch.
The A3144 is a switch. Only 2 states, conducts or doesn't. No in between. And it is open collector output so will need a pullup resistor to give a reading. It will switch with only one magnet polarity.

Some web pages say the KY-024 should have a AH49E Linear Hall-Effect Sensor.

If your module has an A3144, then it's not a linear sensor but a switch.
In that case the IC/pot etc. on the board are useless ornaments.
Leo..

A link to your exact module would help as well as posting your code you are using. Less that information nobody knows exactly what you have for hardware or what your code should be doing.

If OP says he/she can see an A3144 on that module, then case closed.
The A3144 is not a linear hall sensor, which the KY-024 is advertised for.
