Hello, I am using LCD shield for arduino mega 2560. The problem is that the LCD shield takes up the whole space of the arduino mega board. I am left with just a little room between the mega and the display for plugging wires. But with so little space I can not plug anything. What do you use for using the shield and the remaining pins of the Mega?
P.S. I saw similar topic to mine, but what they adviced did not seem correct for me, because the extension board did not hat the pins for direct plugging of the LCD shield.
wiki of the display

Hi @pancake95
Can you post a photo of your shield? Or a link?
Sorry, I forgot about the image. I edited my post. Thank you! ![]()
look up stacking headers, and use them for all the pins of the shield thus lifting it high enough so unused pins on the board are exposed

Again sorry. This time the link should be okay, plus i uploaded a picture of the display.
It is such a simple solution, I have those and still I could not come up with the idea....
Thank you a lot! ![]()
yeah you can get double row stacking header for that connector
