Hi, I am posting a few designs that I have been using in my lab. They may be of interest.
The first one up, is for a Linear CCD with Teensy 4.0. I know, there are a lot TCD1304 designs on various forums. Check this one out, I think it may be different.
First the signal is matched to the input range for the ADC, it is a pretty low noise level circuit. I think this is about as good as it gets for this sensor.
Second, the firmware ("sketch") provides triggered, clocked, triggered clocked sets and gated operations. I use these for kinetic studies of light emission with slow charge build up at interfaces.
Third , there is a Python Class library and a utility for running the instrument.
Everything is there including KiCAD files for the electrical design.
