Looking for Best Sensors

Hello everyone! My brother is currently in school and working on a project related to health. Previously, he created the website name - sofatinfertility, which focuses on fertility health. Now, for his new project, he wants to explore topics like blood pressure and ECG (electrocardiogram).

We are looking to purchase a sensor for measuring blood pressure and possibly one for ECG monitoring as well. We are unsure which ones would be the good options. If anyone has suggestions then please share.

Hello!

I hope your brother's main idea is just to understand and show how the sensors work and not to get accurate measurements, because it's not that easy.

For the ECG signal the most common sensor used is the AD8232. There are some tutorials available on the internet if you Google it.

For the blood pressure look for the mps20N0040D with integrated HX710B.

This last one seems to be the hardest. I saw 2 or 3 topics on the Forum with people trying unsuccessfully to obtain reliable results. At least they didn't come back to say they succeeded. Anyway, there are also some tutorials available at Google.

PS: I've never used any of these sensors.

A little reminder, actually a reminder blocking the sun: DO NOT OPERATE SENSORS THAT ARE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE BODY WHILE BEING POWERED FROM A MAINS POWER SUPPLY!

Just because it's done nowadays doesn't mean you know how to do it safe. Power it from battery!
