I have two projects that I need help with developing and I’m looking for someone with appropriate knowledge, interested enough to give me an approximate price for working prototypes.
- Contactless card payment system for previously coin-op massage chairs.
I am fully aware that it will probably be necessary to incorporate existing equipment from a Merchant Provider. There seem to be a number of options, some much better than others. I think I need someone who has actually dealt with Zettle, Square, SumUp or the like and understands the requirements. We actually use World Pay, but would be happy to change provider.
Currently the only input is the number of coins inserted, sending signals for the number of five-minute massage sessions required. Currently a pound for five minutes. The chair control PCB does the rest. There is a display in the arm that indicates the number of coins inserted and the massage time remaining. I don’t think an additional display is required – perhaps just button(s) to select 5, 10 or 15 minute session? I.E. Charge, £1, £2 or £3 pounds.
Anybody interested? - Marine Stabiliser System
I currently have a Vosper MaxiFin Stabiliser system fitted to my yacht. The operation of the hydraulics controlling the rotation of the fins is provided by a motorised giro compass and old Post Office Avimo relays. Seems to me that one drone chip and a little applied understanding would do the job. I worked on it 30 years ago and have some of my design ideas – but now, at 79, I don’t understand what I was doing!
Again, anybody interested?
