I am looking for a manual detailing usage of a small LCD board that has a Sanyo LC7985NA and Hitachi HD44100H. It has a 16 pin interface. Any help would be appreciated !
The Sanyo LC7985NA is an Hitachi HD44780 compatible LCD controller which can display up to 16 characters. Hitachi HD44100H is the standard auxiliary driver chip that works with the controller to display additional characters. Each 44100 gives the controller the ability to display 16 more characters up to a limit of 80 characters total.
Your display is compatible with the LiquidCrystal library.
