Hey Guys,

Could You Help Me:(

I Have A Mac EI Capitan 10.11 And There Is A Bug Where For My Arduino Duemilanove
The Serial Port For USB Doesn't Come Up.

I Have Tried Every Thing Like Installing Drivers But It Is Still Here.

I Read That It Is A Bug That Is To Do With The Serial Ports On The Mac.

If Any Of The Arduino Developers Are Reading this Please Can You Develop A Bug Fix Update
For All Arduinos.

The official Arduino Duemilanove has an FTDI chip to provide the USB-to-Serial function. Did you install the FTDI drivers? Go to the description of the Duemilanove (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardDuemilanove) and follow the link to the FTDI drivers.

Don't Worry now, I found the drivers for the FTDI chip, thank you, I forgot about this thread
