Making a code for LED Lights

hello, I have searched the web and couldn't really find anything that could help.

So my problem is I am making a Christmas tree for my church and there will be multiple triangles with led lights but I want to be able to control them all at the same time and not just each individual triangle. To have them for example in a flow pattern.

Do you need to control each LED individually, or is it just by section?

Do you want to be able to dim them or let them blink or change colours? If not, just buy a power supply and some single colour LED strips.

How many LEDs are we talking about?

Note:
Even if they can be controlled individually, it does not mean that you have to control them individually. You can "send" the same information to each strip in a triangle.

How many triangles? How many LEDs per triangle? What is the distance between the highest and the lowest triangle?

And how big are the leds?
Or will you add a diffusor?
Standard leds may be a bit small in a church...

This is what we will be aiming to make, the highest point is 8 meters, a side mount water proof LED strip will be used,

Hi, @tarabailey21
Welcome to the forum.

Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?

Thanks.. Tom.. :+1: :coffee: :australia:

This many... Stellated dodecahedron on top. I guess it can "count" itself. Maybe if it waits long enough, the code will write itself.
