Not sure if this is the place to put this post, but it seems to make sense to me.
I'm currently working on a project, and for it i need micro projector. I am wondering where i can buy a projector like one of these.

is there anywhere i can buy the raw materials, such as the piece form the picture i posted. I'm trying to build something which would have a small space for a projector. I know they fit these things in cell phones now lol theres got to be a way to find the raw parts.

I have been unable to find a source of raw modules. It looks like the manufacturers are only interested in large orders or something.

(at 10 lumens it's pretty dim but not the dimmest)

Hi all, new here, I'm looking for a mini projector module that work with Arduino, the small the better, can anyone suggest any?

I am also looking for something tiny. My requirements:

  • Area of circuit/chip < 25 cent coin.
  • 1 sq inch <= Area of image projected <= 3 sq inch
  • Monochrome(single color) is ok. Preferably something that can be seen in light as well like Red.
  • Image doesn't have to be sharp. I only intend to project symbols but want to constantly refresh them to be able to display some simple animation. Don't want to use LCD display b'se it'll take more space.

If you know of some readymade chip/circuit OR something can be created (using LED??) to satisfy above requirements then please share.
