Unless you say how big a robot it's going to be, and calculate the torque and power required, the answer could be anywhere between this:

@12Stepper, can I have 4 of that second motor? I want to make an autonomous 4wd robot.
I will (of course) be powering them with a 9v smoke detector battery.

You will need a large heatsink on the L298, also.
Not for long - that smoke detector battery will be drained pretty quick ...

You will need a motor with gearing to reduce the motor speed to the speed needed for the wheels.
If you search on EBay for Arduino robot kit you will see the sort of motors with gearboxes that are commonly used.
