When working with multiple Opta PLCs or Portenta Machine Controllers using the PLC IDE you have to disconnect and change the Modbus com port every time you switch between controllers. If you want to make edit to a PLC online you have to change the communication port and then connect to make the change. When opening the communication settings in the second PLC IDE the settings have been changed to match the first IDE.
Example shows Com 13 on both IDEs. If I change one to Com 15 and re-open the other one it will now be Com 15. This makes working on multiple PLCs very slow. If the communication settings can be localized to the project and not the general application then you could retain all settings between working on the PLCs.
