Myoware 2.0 sensor EMG wrong readings

Hello, I recently acquired a MyoWare 2.0 EMG sensor. I want to use it in a project to detect jaw muscle movements and use it as a digital mouse every time these muscles move for people with motor disabilities from the neck down who cannot speak.

However, the signal just repeats, and I don't see any difference when the jaw muscles move. I also tried it on the arm to see if there was any variation when the muscle flexed, but I didn't notice any difference; it just repeated the same pattern.

The sensor is connected to its own battery, specially designed for MyoWare. I connect the Arduino directly to the computer. I'm using the example code provided on the MyoWare website.

Does anyone know how I could make the sensor detect a variation when the muscle flexes? I'm connecting the black cable to A0, the brown one to the ground on the Arduino board, and the red cable to 5V. Could that be the issue? I would greatly appreciate some help.

Warm regards.

Provide a picture of how you have it connected, a drawing of how it should be connected, and the sketch you are using. Is this the product?

I am working on a similar project using EMG to operate a linear actuator and am receiving incorrect info from the MyoWare 2.0 sensors as well. The circuit is good, the code works to operate a linear actuator, but the readings from the sensors are stable whether the muscle is flexed or relaxed.

Hello, @bkschwab - If this is a question about your project, you should start a topic. That allows the original post to be the subject of this topic.
