The DRV8825 can support 1.5A per winding. It is not suitable for a 2.5A/winding motor.
Buy a driver that can handle at least 2.5 A/winding, preferably more.

No, I've used different drive there with an unknown stepper motor.
So I;ve decided to get a new components, and now im selecting which one to go for.
I have a very tight deadline. excuse me
From the datasheet:
The DRV8825 is capable of driving up to 2.5 A of current from each output (with proper heat sinking, at 24 V and 25°C)
If you do so, the driver is at its absolute limits, and you need a really big heatsink. And you must ensure that the ambient temperature never rises over 25°C
Never operate a module at its absolute limits for normal operation.
To determine the power supply for a current controlling stepper driver ( like the DRV8825) you must determine the power needed for both coils of the stepper ( rated voltage x rated current x 2). Then add at least 50% for losses, mechanical work and safety margin. Thats the power your PSU must supply. Voltage of the PSU should be at least 3x the rated voltage of the stepper - more is better ( within the specs of the driver)
What about the encoder?
