New Arduino 2011

Is there a new Arduino Coming this year?

Why is the DUE not shown on the hardware page (http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Hardware) and the Arduino Store?

How much does it cost?

The new boards UNO R3, Leonardo and DUE are not yet released.

We are also waiting for the final release of the Arduino IDE 1.0.

The new Uno R3's came out @ Radio Shack last week. I got mine yesterday. I had the software 0022 on my computer and couldn't find a driver. Downloaded 0023 and found a lot more drivers than 0022. The Uno driver loaded and the board started working. Other than moving the reset button, what's different about R3?

Again... new boards = lack of info.

Ok, so now there's some information in Hardware section.

I can't see anything new there.

Revision 3 of the board has the following new features:

1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins that are near to the AREF pin and two other new pins placed near to the RESET pin, the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. In future, shields will be compatible both with the board that use the AVR, which operate with 5V and with the Arduino Due that operate with 3.3V. The second one is a not connected pin, that is reserved for future purposes. Stronger RESET circuit. Atmega 16U2 replace the 8U2.

So basically, they added the extra pins we have seen in the 1.0 previews for Leonardo and Due, they fixed the reset issue introduced by Uno R2 and they added some extra program memory to the USB interface IC.

I wonder if they added a jumper for the auto reset, people have been asking for that for ever and I think just about every clone does it.

Why do you wonder? You have photos and schematics available. No, they didn't. They just added a diode for avoiding first reset voltage peak.

You have photos and schematics available.

I started a thread the other day explicitly asking if there were any Due schematics available and was greeted with silence.

Ok, so now there's some information in Hardware section.

I answered to this that I couldn't see anything new and got no response.

Where is all this information?

Thanks Fat D but I'm looking for Leonardo and DUE details, mostly the DUE really.

Same here. Looks like it's corrupted.

They are not out yet. There will be source files once they get released, and @arduinoteam said that on their twitter numerous times.

Thanks, I guess we'll have to wait. I'm not twitter literate so won't see it there.
