Why were the "New," "Open," and "Save" buttons missing from the Toolbar?
For me it's much easier (and familiar) to click them instead of using the menu or keyboard shortcuts.
Can they be returned? Or at least be an option in Preferences?
Thanks!

Using IDE 2.2.1...
That's a nice touch, but it's better (in my opinion) to have the New, Open, and Save Toolbar buttons (or icons), like in IDE 1.x and the earlier 2.x.
I'm curious why they would remove them at all, while the Verify and Upload are there as they should be.....
I would guess the frequency of use for "new sketch" during coding had it moved to a less prominent position. I certainly would.
[edit] "Open" is one click away... the "folder" in the image... and "New Sketch" is "opening" a sketch as well, so two clicks.
An blast from the past of "put that important button right out front" is the Apple ][e keyboard... where they put the RESET button (used once if you hung your computer) right next to the Carriage Return key and Delete (last char). I often scuttled a program by fat-fingering.
[edit]
I forgot to address "Save"... that is automatic and seems to happen immediately.
