I connected the enable pin on the panel to another PWM pin on the nano. The dimming worked fine with the entire display on but when I put in text or a smaller “box” on the screens I got a lot of flickering led’s around the correctly lit led’s.
I have the code all done using the DMD library. I haven’t worked much with the DMD2 and have struggled to make the changeover. I presume if I spent enough time on it I might get there, but it looks easier to just pop in a resistor.
Made a display sign for a local food pantry and after completed they decided it was too bright at night.
