PC doesn't recognize Arduino Uno

Hello, I did my homework and searched the whole internet, but didn't find a solution for my problem.
Recently, I tried controlling the LED strip with audio from my stereo amplifier like in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-zCNkNp4RY, but instead of microphone input I had a terrible idea to plug my speaker output directly to Arduino analog input... so I fried my amp.
But now when I try to plug Arduino to my PC it powers up good (the LEDs are glowing), but it's not recognized at all. I checked my device manager, switched cables and tried to download drivers for my board manually, but nothing works. Is there a way to check with multimeter if I fried something on the Arduino?
There are no visible faulty components and I smelled and touched it thoroughly after the amp incident and all seemed good.

Thanks for your help.

I guess it did not see the board?

Power LED should be on, other LEDs depend on the loaded sketch (or the damage done).

Not only. Because the board is no longer recognised, you also fried the serial-to-usb converter. And with negative voltage and voltage greater than 5V going in to the main processor (328P), the 328P will also be fried.

Throw the board away, buy a new one and take it as a learning exercise.

You have gained some valuable knowledge and now have a mechanical template for mounting similar Arduinos. The best solution is to purchase a new Arduino and a copy of the Arduino Cookbook.
