PELCO-D protocol to VISCA protocol translator for SONY PTZ Camera's

Hello,

I have search this forum and could not find what I'm searching for.

Are there people that can create a library for translating PTZ protocols ?

These PELCO and VISCA are PTZ (Pan / Tilt / Zoom) protocols to control a PTZ Camera.

The protocol that needs to convert is PELCO-D and is a RS-485 9600 baud signal.
The translated protocol needs to be VISCA and is a RS-232 9600 baud signal.

So I guess I need a MAX232 and a MAX485 chip for level shifting.

Can someone help me to start this protocol translator project?

I need someone to help code this also!, I have a pile of arduinos and a few Visca PTZs hooked up to a bosch/pelco dvr.

Did you manage to get it working?

I'd appreciate any help which I could get on this subject.
