Please understand that AUDIO is NOT stored on an SD card. What is stored is a compacted file of bytes representing what was at one time, "audio". It is NOT like a vinyl record with a track that causes a crystal to vibrate and create a signal that is actual electronic audio that can be amplified.

My first thought is that you could look to see if you could buy a bare YX5200 and build your own DFPlayer workalike on a PCB. The MD8002A amp seems to be readily available.
And on checking, the YX5200-24SS IC is available from Ali Express as well.
