Play audio via nodemcu or arduino (not with dfplayer)

i want to use esp8266 or arduino to play audio directly from sd card to a speaker and not via df player

what amplifier and what ic components i need so i can do this.
i want audio to be as loud as it is when using df player

so this is what im using now but i need to remove DF player module and use something else so i can build a pcb

Okay, but why? What problem are you trying to solve?

Please understand that AUDIO is NOT stored on an SD card. What is stored is a compacted file of bytes representing what was at one time, "audio". It is NOT like a vinyl record with a track that causes a crystal to vibrate and create a signal that is actual electronic audio that can be amplified.

i just want to use ic components to solder them on pcb not via df player module

Ahh, okay. Learning experience. I can completely understand that.

My first thought is that you could look to see if you could buy a bare YX5200 and build your own DFPlayer workalike on a PCB. The MD8002A amp seems to be readily available.

And on checking, the YX5200-24SS IC is available from Ali Express as well.

i cant find those parts on JLCPCB Assembly Parts Library & Component Sourcing - JLCPCB
