good morning (it's 2:15 AM here), I don't know if I should post it here or on project guidance sub-menu (?)

since I'm succeed with this iron man motorized faceplate project, I planned to add some sound effect to my iron man suit, like robotic sound every time I step.

the problem is, I can't do coding, but I'm okay with soldering, connecting cables, and following instruction (since the last arduino project has a complete tutorial from a to z). since I've googled and haven't found anything (except tutorial from lightsabers with arduino which is help me a lot)

So, please help if anyone could show me how to make one of this video from youtube, Ironman suit sound effect arduino, what should I buy (from arduino, to speakers), what to do with the sd card (what kind of file I should upload, or how do I rename it)

1.) That RPF link sure does look familiar. :stuck_out_tongue:

2.) The YouTube video is less than worthless.. he posted no details. (who cares about looking at some tape) that he alludes to where the 'magic happens'.. no details.. (why even bother posting it IMO)..

3.) If you already have the faceplate working.. you have several choices.

a.) you can use your current set-up and play TONES from the Arduino (not sure if there any Timer conflicts..etc)
b.) use the same Arduino and get an Audio board form ebay or Adafruit that when a simple pin toggle plays the matching sound effect.

c.) you can use a new Arduino if you want this unit to be located in the chest or by arc reactor..etc.. the above (b) still applies.

Usually something like a DFPLayer board or other sound board form Adafruit will work and easy to implement.
