Powering Uno R4 WiFi with External 5 volts

Can I supply 5 volts directly to the 5 volt pin on an Uno R4 WiFi board? I want to run the Arduino and a servo motor off of an external 5 volt battery pack. I notice on the bottom of the board there looks to be a small dot that says VUSB, maybe I could connect there. I could go directly into the USB C port with a connector but I still need to split off the power for the servo motor.

Have you consulted the datasheet, especially the power tree section?

Before you ruin anything, the pin you should use is the VIN pin, the 5V pin is an output pin.

AND you need more than 5V

2 3.7V 18650's are a perfect match.

No.

From the R4 documentation:
To power the UNO R4 Minima you may either use a USB-C® cable or the VIN pin.
