Prizm library not found

I am a total nube to the arduino world and have been trying to get the simplest program to compile. My board is the Arduino UNO and I have the Arduino and Tetrix_prizm installed in the program files folder. Every time I try to compile a simple program I get an error stating the prizm.h library not found. No matter where I place the library the program can't find it.

I must be missing something very simple.

Any assistance would be greatly appricated,

Did you carefully follow the installation instructions found here

and/or here?
https://asset.pitsco.com/sharedimages/resources/tetrixprizm-arduinoide-referenceguide.pdf

Start the IDE, goto settings, look at the path for sketchbook. you need to create dir under that and place the code there including the .h file.

Thanks for the feedback and I will definitively revisit the process.

P.S. I am a retired mainframe programmer after putting in 30 years.
