Problem creating a simple circuit with uno r3

i have a arduino uno r3, a breadboard, usb cable for the arduino and it was working fine, i connected a led light to the breadboard with a 220 ohm resistor the circuit was also correct, and the light would blink, so i used to make a led blink after some time like on and after 2s off. Now when i connect a mini 'tower pro' (company name) servo motor to the pin sockets of arduino then was working fine after 12s the servo was overheating, so i disconnected the servo and did some research and found that the servo has some issues, the next day when i connected the led, 220ohm resistor to breadboard then connect it to arduino but this time lots of things were happening, first the arduino got disconnected then reconnected automatically then the lights of the arduino would turn off, but if i disconnect my circuit from arduino the lights of the uno were back on, so i thought that the arduino and breadboard is the issue here and replaced both of them with new one, this time, when i connected the circuit to the arduino, the lights of the arduino were on but my led would not blink, here is the image with reference to my circuit and
code

Pls note that i have checked and found no Breadboard connection issues, Sketch upload problems, Software conflicts or led issues and since i replaced the breadboard three times, its less likely that the breadboard is damaged but not sure about the usb cable but it works fine for example when i blink the led of uno then it works and I also connected the terminals of a red led to the pin sockets of the uno, again it is working but when i do the same thing with breadboard it does not work. Please suggest me in this matter!

I moved your topic to an appropriate forum category @jb9g.

In the future, please take some time to pick the forum category that best suits the subject of your topic. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.

This is an important part of responsible forum usage, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. The guide contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

You may have overstretched the pin that you connector to the servo though, since I don't know what you did it is impossible to say.

I am sorry, but I do not understand your problem. The code posted will not blink the LED (see the Blink example).

Please read the how to get the most from forum post to see how to properly post code. Images of code are not worth much especially when the code gets complex..
