Problem with IR receiver (2 pins)

Hi All,

I have just bought some IR receiver and sender to mess with CLW1057.

The sender is working just fine, no problems with those. The troubles begin with the receiver.

I have been looking around on the forum and most of the topic reffered to 3 pins receiver (this one and this one did not get me very far...).

I do belive it has something to do with my wiring, but I have tried all the combinations (even switching anode input GND and 5+)
In the picture:
RED 5V
WHITE A5
GREEN ground
10k resistor
Anode is linked to 5v

Code is working when I use a 3 pins IR receiver, that's why I do believe it has to do with my wiring.

You hardware is not a standard IR receiver but a simple photo diode that has the highest sensitivity in the infrared spectrum. The main difference to a IR receiver is the filter for the 38kHz carrier frequency. Without that filter you can't use the system in an environment with ambient light but only in a completely capsuled case.
