If only I could get that festive Xmas Nano tree light flasher to work.
Must be a dodgy line in the code.
Hang on. Plugging it in might help.

Electrical things tend to work better when they’re plugged in. My kettle boils water much faster when its plugged in.

Generally yes. For cheap xmas lights, they are more predictable when unplugged...

I worked in a shop of roughnecks. An Official "OSHA" (safety) sign overhead read "If you see something, say something." One day, the boss gathered us to the floor. He loudly reminded us that our safety, our lives, depended upon our own attitude toward safety for ourselves and our colleagues. He was standing under the sign, which was changed to read, "If you see something (^funny), say something (^funny)." I could not help myself. Lost my coffee. Boss laughed at me. I cleaned the sign. Kept my job. It was a "funny" project.
