Self discharge rate of Lithium Thionyl Batteries

Hi,

Lithium Thionyl Batteries have a very low self discharge rate of about 1%/Year @20 deg C.
What is the discharge rate at elevated temperature of 35 deg C?

Unfortunately, this data is not available for SAFT batteries that I plan to use.

Then ask Saft. Why would we know any more than they do?

Why not contact the battery manufacturer for the 'correct' answer to your enquiry
If you download the data sheet, which relates to SAFT Lithium Thionyl, from this site you'll see that they stipulate you should contact them is you intend storing their batteries at greater than 30 degC

All activation-energy limited reactions have a temperature dependency given by the Arrhenius equation,
propably the LiSOCl2 batteries are governed by the same laws of chemistry as the rest of the universe!

But its probably wise to check the battery datasheet first, or go to battery university https://batteryuniversity.com/

If its important, and it must be although your not revealing why it is, and the manufacturer wont say, then why dont you test this yourself ?
