Hello! I got the Arduino starter kit and plugged the Arduino Uno into my Macbook Pro to upload the 'Blink' sketch as per the instructions in the book. However, the book shows a 'Serial Ports' option in Tools underneath Board, whereas I see Ports, with Serial Ports greyed out.
I'm on Big Sur 11.2. I connected the board with the USB cable that came in the starter kit, using a USBC adaptor. I tried multiple different adaptors and all the ports on my Mac, but it still seems that the ports don't register.
I tried following the instructions to install the drivers here How to Install FTDI Drivers - SparkFun Learn and restarted but still no luck.
