Servo Brackets and parts needed to model excavator

I need some help deciding on which servo brackets I need to buy/make in order to build a robotic arm that will have the same angles of rotation of an excavator. It must closely resemble the construction of the excavator.

In this link (i think you need quicktime to play it) i like the pipes they used to connect the brackets (where can I buy this pipe online?) . So i was thinking of doing something similar for the " boom " and bend the pipe to a certain angle to obtain the resemblance of the excavator's. Any suggestions and direct links to the parts will greatly be appreciated.

I am thinking of using this item as the base by the way.

Thanks
Izy

Your link requires me to download something - which I am not prepared to do.
Without seeing the picture it is hard to know what to suggest. I have made servo brackets from aluminimum and plastic angle that you can buy at many DIY stores.

It looks like all aluminium construction, tube and folded sheet metal brackets,
they mention they have a range of such parts: SES-V1 System - Lynxmotion

But aluminium tube/strip isn't hard to find on eBay or otherwise.

@MarkT Thanks i found all my items that I think I will need there.

I want to know what is the name of the bracket that is holding the servo motor. In the picture attached (in the comment below) I think the orange arrow points at the L bracket ? Does anyone know what is the blue arrow pointing to ?

Also
Bracket 1 & Bracket 2

Bracket 2 looks like it will work for sure with a Hitec HS-422 but is bracket 1 suited for the robotic servos only which has two horn areas or can it work HS -422 as well ?

Picture for the above comment .

That looks neat. I have a few servos lying around. I may try to make one. I will bookmark this Thread.

I'm a cheapskate so I won't be buying purpose made brackets.
