Soundgin software interface (GinSing) release 1.0

Hey everybody, I've just completed a software library for an Arduino | Soundgin interface that some folks may find useful. I have not figured out how to make it an "official" software release on the Arduino website (any guidance appreciated). I am currently working on a official shield, but until then you can put together a quick breadboard shield that will get you going. I know a lot of people are using the SpeakJet chip, but I have an affinity for the Soundgin chip because it does more and costs about the same. I welcome all comments, suggestions, rants, and raves and hope to develop the project website to support the Arduino community.

You may write an article on the playground explaining some ins and outs to help people get started, you may include the schematics/code on the playground or use a link to github or other code repository.

You should be able to use the playground with your forum credentials.

Where do you even get a SoundGin chip these days? I can't find one anywhere...

I believe that a new licensee will be selling the chips in a month or less. There is talk on the yahoo! groups to that effect. When I can get a firm date I'll post a reply here (very soon hopefully).

The GinSing V1.1 board is now complete and for sale on the website in board, kit, and assembled forms. The chip is being produced through JT Technology as the Babblebot IC.
