Spacing between Digital I/O Pins

Hello everyone,

I am designing an IR shield for the arduino uno r3 and wanted to know what the distance between the 2 rows of pins (digital I/O) would be on either side of the uno board ?

Can someone help he out with this or show me a link to the place I could get information regarding this ?

I am fairly new to board design and want to make sure my shield will properly align with the Uno board !

What program are you using? There are files on the Products page for the Uno, if you are using Eagle you can open the .brd file and get the locations/distances there.
Or just take an Uno board, on the schematic strip it down to just the headers and then rebuild from there. Rip up the traces on the board file and route as needed.
