Starter kit project 11 LCD problem

when I tested starter kit project 11, the whole Arduino uno rev r3 board was not working.
So I guessed that this problem was wiring problem. But the thing is that there was no problem with the wiring. But when I suddenly shook the Arduino Board the whole circuit and the screen turned on. So I hope that you could give me some answers!

Is project 11 the "crystal ball" project? Can you post a link to the online version?

I'm not familiar with the starter kit but found e.g. Trouble with Arduino Starter Kit: Project 11 Crystal Ball; did you solder the LCD?

Welcome to the forum

To me that indicates that there was a problem with the wiring. It may be that the circuit was wired correctly but that one or more connections were loose

The LCD came soldered from the Arduino company.
And I just surfed the internet and found that there are none.
And I found a pdf file!
