Stores to buy robot parts.

Hey guys,
I'm a 2 month noob in the Arduino and I would like to get a general idea how everyone else is actually doing this. Here is my question, what stores do you guys usually get your robot parts from? Like specialty stores? I mean up until this point , it appears that I'm stuck with strictly online stores. Are there any stores that would sale these types of parts? I know radio shack has some limited parts but is there anything better? I would love get some responses and Ideas. I hate waiting for shipment when what i need is like one simple part that i forgot to order.

Thanks in advance everyone.

You could try the Robot-shop

Finding a shop you can just walk into is likely to be difficult unless you go to Japan or China.

Have a look for exhibitions or trade shows.
Makerbot stores do exist though, sometimes located in large dept stores.

If you're in the Boston, MA area there is YouDoIt Electronics in Needham, just off Rt 128/I-95.
They carry a lot of Arduino kind of stuff and a lot of mechanical bits like you might find at Sparkfun.

Thank you Larry,
it seems like they have some stores, however, robotshop does not have any actual store locations, I'm correct on that right?

Where did you say you lived?

If you are near Calgary, there is:

You might look up the locations of MicroCenter. They carry a bunch of arduino and pi products.

Thank you guys. Micro center also looks very promising! I truly appreciate all the responses.

Thanks!
