TMC2208 vref location

I have some BIGTREETECH TMC2208 V3.0 stepper drivers. BIGTREETECH data sheet is abysmal. It says how to adjust the reference voltage but does not identify the location. A search of the web doesn't yield anything either.

Does anyone have published data showing where the VREF connection is? I suspect it's one of the three empty pcb thru-holes next to the potentiometer.

I did find some user's data for the TMC2209 V3.0, which does identify the location.

Any help would be appreciated.

thx

This document mentions (page 5) that VREF is adjusted via the onboard potentiometer.

Perhaps this is what you are looking for..

Did you try the voltage on the wiper of the pot? This works for other driver boards.
An easy way is to clip the DMM +lead to the screwdriver shaft.
Leo..

Thanks, but the problems is that it doesn't say where to take the measurement.

Thanks. Yeah, that was my next step -- to fish around at various test points, including the pot itself. Was hoping for a more official document.

This is a wiki showing how to set it in a Silent2209 V3.0, and a similar for TMC2208 V1.0 (I have a V3.0)

The test points are different.

Update:

I did some measurements and VREF is connected to the lower right thru-hole (nearest the EN pin), and to the pot itself.

Under the microscope, you can see the trace from that hole to the pot.
