Touchpad pinout

Hey guys im trying to make a Bluetooth touchpad out of a dead Acer laptop iv tried some diffrent pins etc but can't get it to work im connecting to a FPC adapter, to a esp32, can anyone help? Currently I have

On the fpc adaptor
Pin 1 to 3v
Pin 2 to gnd
Pin 3 to pin 21
Pin 4 to pin 22
Pin 5 to pin 19
Pin 6 to pin 23
Pin 7 to pin 18
Pin 8 to pin 5

The chip on the touch pad is

The laptop it's from is a acer Swift (2022)

It’s possible it’s just a normal usb device, some touchpads are. Your best bet to find out, is to identify that driver chip.

It says this on the chip but I can't find any info about it

It’s a Synaptics S9561 (S8561?), I don’t see a datasheet though. You might need to just reverse engineer it and see what on the laptop side it connects to and see if that chip can be identified.

The company name is Synaptics. A search for Synaptics S9561 finds a hit on Synaptics Touch Controllers but I couldn't find any datasheet for the chip.

Perhaps the statement on the Synaptics website stating they do CUSTOM designs for their customers answers the question.
