Hi I'm re-posting this topic because nobody wrote an answer, and i think is a very common question.
First of all, @ max574984759845, may be the solution is to remove the capacitor C1 in your board that is what adjust the sensitivity on the touch sensor chip, as stated in the datasheet.
Check the datasheet, there you can understand a little bite more.
In the section 1. Sensitivity adjustment you can find several way to increase the sensitivity.
