ULN2003 - El Wire 12V Driver - Connection right?

Hi all,

I need to switch different El Wire Drivers/Inverter. They need 12V

I have an external 12V power source, is the connection right?

One change I would make is to be sure pin 8 of the ULN2003 is connected directly to the power supply ground. You might not want to draw all the ground current through the traces on the Arduino board as show in the diagram.

Yes but the words you want is that this chip sinks current, not source it.
