USB port is greyed out

I am trying some test sketches trying to control a servo motor.
I have 2 boards, a Feather Huzzah and a NodeMCU.
When I connect the feather the USB port is available but when I connect the NodeMCU the port
is greyed out.

How can I fix this ?
