I'm developing a audio amplifier using PAM8403 audio amplifier . This IC can give output to two speakers (3W+3W) . But I'm confused how to connect variable resistor to control the volume . Pls help me to do this .

Thanks pwillard for your reply . but there is some issue with connecting pot in audio amplifier as if I connect like the picture , there is a huge noise at output
I found [u]this schematic[/u]. VR1 is a potentiometer used as a volume control.
A normal volume control should be a logarithmic or audio taper pot. (A regular linear pot won't "sound" linear, and it will sound like you're almost at full volume at the halfway point.)
What value pot are you using?

That really tells us nothing. You would need to be connecting the two volume controls, as shown, to the inputs on your diagram. You now need to show us in diagram and (perfectly focussed and taken in daylight) photographic form, what you actually did.
