I'd like to know if any of you can recommend a cheap pressure sensor that can go underwater.
I'm doing a project where I need to determine the pressure in two compartments filled with water. I'm searching for sensors but none of them seem waterproof.
For example, I thought about using a Capacitive pressure sensor, but I have no idea if I can put it underwater without damaging it.

What is the pressure range?
We've been having great luck using a MS5803 pressure sensors in underwater applications, with deployments > 1 year in the 5-15m range:
You can find the 14bar versions on ebay, or at sparkfun. They are 24bit, so the depth resolution is fantastic, even for the high range versions.
